We're auctioning an original painting inspired by my travels to Ghana. All proceeds will go to Provide the Slide and their purpose. About Provide the Slide:
Provide the Slide is a Swiss/German NGO that opens new perspectives for young people along the West African coast through the power of surfing. The people behind Provide the Slide are driven by a deep commitment to social change. Since 2019, they’ve been collecting unused surfboards and equipment in different European countries — offering them a second life in surf communities across Africa. The equipment is refurbished and sent to trusted local partners in countries like Liberia, Ghana, Senegal, and more.

Surfing is more than just a sport—it’s a way to build confidence, autonomy, and resilience. By making surfboards accessible, Provide the Slide helps individuals in West Africa challenge themselves, grow personally, and create economic opportunities through surfing-related activities such as guiding, accommodation, and lessons. Provide the Slide focuses on sustainability by maximizing the life of every donated surfboard, offering repair courses and materials to ensure equipment can be used as long as possible.
