"Ab in Bach" Original

After living and working in Biarritz at the French Atlantic coast for some time, this summer is going to be my first summer in Basel since three years and as a passionate Rhein swimmer, I’m very much looking forward to it.

At the same time, summer to me became more and more something to worry about. Climate change has changed the way I see summer. Now I worry about the heatwaves, about the droughts and record temperatures. I’m only 32 years old but already live in a different climate than the one I grew up with…

But I know humans are really good at pretending it’s always been like that.

So enjoy summer.
