"The ocean room" Original

My art has been compared to Matisse a lot lately. While I'm flattered by this comparison, I obviously try to make my own marks in the art world.

However, this painting is actually directly inspired by some of his paintings. I love his interior rooms so much, so I felt like how cool it would be to do one my way, with my choice of items in it.
Instead of flowers, there's a coral. And of course, I had to place a surfboard in it! and the view, where you would usually see trees and plants in his works, I decided to paint the ocean...and a windfarm, since I feel like it's our generations obligation to see renewables as a symbol of hope rather than a unwanted landmark. So why not start placing it in my artworks...

Acrylics on canvas made of natural linen fabric, 120x160cm

Due to the size of the artwork, it can't be shipped. Therefore, purchases can only be made from within Europe, where I'd be able to deliver it myself. Get in touch if interested.
